Canonisation at The Vatican of Pope John Paul II & Pope John XXIII
An estimated 500,00 Catholic faithfuls converged on St Peters Square for the joint canonisation at the Vatican of Pope John Paul II and Pope John XXIII.
Thousand of pilgrims spent the night in St Peters Square as Catholics from all around the world gathered for the unprecedented double canonisation, with a large contingent from Poland, the homeland of Pope John Paul II. During my week long visit and with Celebrations being held throughout various parts of Rome, it was a great opportunity put the Olympus EM-1 through its paces along with me the 45mm and 12mm.
