Raithwaite Hall Wedding Photographer. Charlotte & Daniel
Raithwaite Hall Wedding Photographer. Its always an exciting time when you get the opportunity to photograph a wedding at a new venue. This was my second visit this year to Raithwaite Hall, Whitby’s newest five star venue a few miles outside Whitby in the small coastal village of Sandsend. I met Daniel for the first time at Sneaton Castle to capture a few shots of himself and the guys in the grounds. All were relaxed and full of fun so getting the photo’s i wanted was made simple.
A short journey took me to Charlotte’s house to meet the girls to capture the bridal preparations. This is one of my favourite parts of the day as i get to photograph the events as they unfold. Charlotte and the girls all looked amazing and its when i get the chance to capture a few portraits of the bridal party and family members before the cars arrive. The ceremony took place in Whitby’ Evangelical Church, my first wedding there.
Charlotte loved the idea of having photo’s along Whitby’s pier. It’s a great opportunity to spend an hour with the bride & groom and to get photo’s in a different location. It’s something i try and encourage all couples to do. So thats where we headed straight after the ceremony in an open top car through the streets of Whitby.
It was then back to Raithwaite Hall for the group shots and a further chance to take more pictures of the happy couple in the gardens before the start of the wedding breakfast and the evenings celebrations.
Please take a look at a few of my favourite photo’s from the day and please feel free to leave a comment below. Its always appreciated. You can also view my Youtube video slideshow featuring more of the photo’s from the day at the bottom of this page
