COTTESMORE HOTEL WEDDING

Hannah & Tom are two of the nicest people you could wish to meet. Our first meeting was in London and when they told me about their plans for the day and chose me to photograph their wedding I knew I was in for a great day. If you are familiar with Cottesmore Hotel, then you’ll know the grounds are spectacular providing a beautiful backdrop for photographs. It really is a photographers dream. It literally ticks every box for pockets of light, a variety of backdrops.

Both Hannah & Tom got ready at the venue. This gave may the opportunity to not only cover Hannah’s bridal prep, but to get a little coverage of Tom. The guys often get overlooked so if I get the chance to do the groom I jump at the opportunity. 

The couple had their wedding ceremony in the main hall – the light there is beautiful. The ceremony can best be described as relaxed but fun. That also pretty much describes Tom. After the confetti the guests enjoyed a relaxed drinks reception before being seated for dinner. Hannah & Tom opted to have speeches before the meal, which is a great idea so everyone can enjoy the food without the nervous butterflies!

As I mentioned earlier, the grounds here are beautiful. I took the couple off for their  portrait session. I’m not one for over posing a couple. I love to keep it as natural as possible and Hannah & Tom were real stars. It turned out to be one of my very favourite couple sessions ever!
