Pickering Wedding, St Peters Church – Amelia & Phil
What would be a shortish wedding for me was nonetheless still as rewarding as i started the day in Pickering for the bridal preparations. The ceremony was to take place in St Peter & St Pauls, a beautiful 12th century church in the heart of Pickering. Here i captured some of the wedding party before Amelia arrived in a horse drawn carriage. Once inside, i was happy to be given free reign, well within reason, to capture the ceremony where Amelia looked amazing.
And finally it was back over to Whitby and Dunsley hall for the reception but not before stopping off at the Hole of Horcum. It was Amelia & Phil”s wish to stop for photographs in what is normally a stunning backdrop. Sadly, this day it was shrouded in thick fog.
Here are just a few images from the day. A mixture of documentary and contemporary pictures. Enjoy.
If you plan on getting married at St Peter & St Pauls church then i would love to hear from you
So that was Amelia & Phil’s Pickering wedding. What did you think?. It was a real pleasure and honour to be commissioned to photograph their day with so many special moments to witness. Please feel free to get in touch regarding any of my packages. Hopefully we can arrange a meeting in the near future if you would like any further information.
