On your wedding day, my approach is a mix of documentary and editorial – capturing those unposed, meaningful moments with a creative feel. I’ll guide you just enough to help you feel relaxed and look your best, without anything feeling forced.

Absolutely. While my approach focuses on editorial storytelling, I always make time for capturing special moments with your loved ones. That includes group shots with your family and friends. We’ll keep them relaxed, quick, and elegant so they feel true to the day and don’t take you away from the celebration for long.

I did my post graduate diploma in photojournalism and was trained by some of the best photographers in the UK. That led me to work with some of the top news agencies and magazines before moving into. regional newspapers. That experience gave me a strong foundation in working with light, composition and storytelling. Today, I now incorporate that style into my wedding photography and over time I started working with couples who wanted the same approach for their wedding day photos.

The full day wedding photography package includes 10 hours of shooting on your wedding day. The half day wedding photography package includes roughly 6 hours.

I do charge some travel and accommodation costs if it is too far to travel on the same day. I like to make sure I’m close to the wedding the night before to eliminate any risk of something going wrong like traffic or break downs.

Absolutely, couple portraits are some of my favourite images to create. Keeping within my style, I love to keep these natural yet elegant. If these portraits are important to you, I recommend being ready around 30 minutes early so we have time to take them without feeling rushed.

If at all possible, yes. It adds another dimension to the story of your day. Typically, groom preparation lasts around 1 hour prior to me meeting the bride. If you’re both getting ready and at the same venue then its no problem to pop between the two of you. If however the groom is some distance away then a second shooter may be required.

A typical wedding consists of a full days comprehensive coverage. This includes 2 hours bridal preparation through to your first dance with an 20 minutes to capture your family & friends accomanying you on the dance floor

I take editing very seriously. I love the editing process so I do take a lot of time to perfect it and I never rush it, which means, in peak wedding season, I allow 3-4 weeks for turn around..

The question that is always asked, and for good reason! In the years I’ve been photographing weddings, there hasn’t been a single occasion where I’ve not been able to show up on the day. But if for some awful reason I couldn’t make a wedding, I have a number of other brilliant photographers who work together to cover in an emergency.

If they are unavailable, I am in a group specifically made for this exact reason – where photographer’s can get covered by fellow photographers at the last minute. They would only photograph your day, I would still edit your wedding. But I would like to reassure you that this is very unlikely and always the last possible option.
