North Yorkshire Wedding Photographer
Some of the most memorable wedding photographs are those that are captured naturally
Welcome to Gary Simpson Photography, I’m a North Yorkshire wedding photographer based in Whitby. I offer documentary wedding photography all over North Yorkshire and the UK. I hope you’ll take the time to browse the photographs on this site and get a taste of the the story behind them. My aim is simple, to capture your wedding day in a beautiful series of images that captures the essence of your wedding day. With so many photographers to choose from, selecting the one that is going to suit your particular style can seem a little daunting.
So how do you choose the right photographer for you ?
Your wedding day is undoubtedly one of the most important days in your life. You’ll have devoted endless hours planning everything down to the smallest detail. But how do you choose the right wedding photographer for you. A Google search will bring up hundreds, each one offering something different. My advice, go with the one that you believe can produce the beautiful photographs that tell the story of your day.
Check out my portfolio. It will give you the viewer a sense of what it was like to be there. The fun, emotion & excitement that exists in each and every wedding which your chosen photographer should be able to capture. Then imagine if these were photo’s of your close friends and family. The one thing that every wedding has in common – the bride & grooms appreciation for beautiful story telling images and an uninterrupted day of wedding photography
My photo journalistic style allows me to photograph your wedding in an unobtrusive and relaxed way, capturing the most poignant and intimate moments as they unfold. All you need to do is have a fun and enjoy yourself. To say my work is purely documentary would be an injustice. I’ll also take on a more creative role, directing when necessary to create magical images of you both. Combine these two genres of photography together and you’ll have a set of images that reflects the story of your day. Formal group images are completed as fast as possible so you can get back to enjoying yourself.
Nice to meet you
