Emily & Graham’s Wedding at Hackness
Hackness wedding Photography
I’d been looking forward to Emily & Graham’s Hackness wedding since the day they booked me last year. They were keen fans for the documentary approach. I started the day with the bridal preparations on the outskirts of Scarborough. A series of Holiday cottages that Emily’s mum owns. Across the road were the most impressive gardens that Emily had permission to use. A perfect opportunity for a few bridal portraits and group shots before the short drive to the church.
Emily and Graham had chosen St Peter’s Church for their ceremony, a small but beautiful church in the heart of Hackness which dates back to 680AD. The reception was to be held at the local village hall. Its easy to get a preconceived idea what a reception will be like at a village hall. However, everyone involved had put a huge amount of work into turning this into something rather special. Every detail had thoroughly been thought out, from the tables settings, food, band etc. It made for a great day that simply added to a great wedding.
So That was Emily and Graham’s Hackness wedding. The majority of the wedding was to simply observe and document their day. Off course i took a few group shots as i do with every wedding. To capture pictures as the day unfolded was the perfect approach for this wedding. Below are a few of my favourite photo’s from the many i took. Don’t forget to view my blog page for more weddings in and around North Yorkshire.
Hopefully you will like what you see. If you do, and are getting married and like the unobtrusive style of wedding photography, mixed with a more creative approach then do get in touch. Many thanks for popping by……Enjoy
