Sandburn Hall Wedding – Katie & Scott
Ever since Katie & Scott commissioned me to capture their Sandburn Hall wedding, it was a wedding i had been looking forward to as this would be the first opportunity to do a wedding at this beautiful venue on the outskirts of York. As with the majority of weddings, the day started with the bridal preparations at katie’s home in Leeds. Bridal prep is always one of my favourite parts of the day and this was no exception. The girls where all relaxed and great fun to be around.
The next step was the drive back to York, St Wilfreds Catholic Church in the heart of York city centre. Again, this would be my first time at this beautiful church. Once the ceremony was completed it was then on to Sandburn Hall. With the weather being perfect for the day it was time to capture the group photo’s and then onto the speeches. I decided on this occasion to leave the photo’s of katie & Scott until after the speeches for best the light. First dance completed i left the evenings celebration in full swing.
