Scackleton Wedding York- Cherrill & Alex
A beautiful hot and sunny day for my very first Scackleton Wedding and situated on the outskirts of York. With the weather being so good it was ideal, as the the reception was in the garden of Cherrill’s parents. A huge amount of work had gone in to make this a very special day. A a stunning teepee taking centre stage in the immaculate garden. As is the norm, i arrived for the bridal preparations to capture Cherrill and the girls getting ready. All relaxed and having fun before the ceremony. As the ceremony was taking place in The Church of St George the Martyr, a special licence was required. An application being to the Archbishop of Canterbury. With Cherrill, her father and sister walking the short distance from the house it made for some great pictures. All three mading there way down the country lane. Once the ceremony was completed the entire party made there way back to the house for the group photo’s and for me to document the day as it unfolded. With the speeches completed and the first dance done, i left Cherrill & Alex to enjoy the rest of the evenings celebrations.
Here are just a few photo’s from their special day. if you are planing on a Scackleton wedding then i would love to hear from you. Enjoy
