Konstantin & Robert – Wedding at Swinton Park

As is often the case, i’m receiving bookings simply on the strength of my style of wedding photography without ever meeting couples. This was the case with Konstantin and Robert. They simply required good documentary photography to capture their day in order to spend as much time as possible with family and friends. When they got in touch to secure the booking I couldn’t have been more thrilled. Not only was it a venue I had not photographed at before, it is also a stunning castle set in in heart of the Yorkshire Dales..

I arrived nice and early for this Swinton Park wedding to give myself the opportunity to capture the guys getting ready and to photograph the guests arrival. It’s certainly a photographers dream as every room is bathed in natural light. The ceremony room was a good example. Following on from the ceremony, and with the weather being on our side the guests headed out into the grounds for drinks. A falconry display entertained the guests.

With the speeches completed the evenings celebrations began. First off, some great dancing and entertainment from the band. Before heading back home there was the final touch to the day. A spectacular fireworks display much to the surprise of the guests.
