Situated on the outskirts of Helmsley, Ampleforth Abbey has been home to a Community of Benedictine monks since 1802 and would be the setting for Emma & Gavin’s big day. Its the one place i’ve waited for some time to capture a wedding so when i was asked to be their wedding photographer i couldn’t wait for the day. But before then, i headed to Emma’s parents house for the bridal preparations before heading over to Ampleforth Abbey for the arrival of the guests. Ampleforth Abbey and the service was simply amazing. Over an hours worth of shooting until all headed outside for drinks. The finally to the day was to be held at the impressive Hovingham Hall and its where i finally left Emma & Gavin to enjoy the evenings celebrations with family and friends.
Here is just a small selcetion from Emma & Gavin’s wedding at Ampleforth Abbey. If you are planning on getting married at this beautiful venue then i would love to hear from you… Enjoy
