Wedding at Crossbutts Stables – Anna & Daniel
I’ve photographed at this amazing wedding venue many times in the past so i know how challenging a wedding at Crossbutts Stables can be. Low light and mixed light sources can make it tricky at times. But as a documentary wedding photographer this is what makes my job so exciting and the extra effort makes it that bit more rewarding.
No matter how large or small the wedding the same process goes into each and every wedding i photograph. For Anna and Daniel’s wedding at Crossbutts this was to be a small intimate wedding. Like many weddings, i still wanted to capture some aspect of the bridal preparations and as a documentary wedding photographer it gives the day a starting point. I arrived at Crossbutts as Anna was having the final touches done before everyone headed over for the ceremony.
After the ceremony the guests headed out for a drinks reception before the start of some entertaining speeches. This is the opportunity to capture any group pictures before i got Anna & Daniel alone. Crossbutts is a beautiful setting with panoramic views over the Yorkshire moors. Ideal for shots of the happy couple. I could actually spend a good hour or two with a couple as i’m spoilt for a choice of locations. Its the ideal place for a great party and to end this wedding at Crossbutts.
Below are just a few of the pictures i shot at Anna & Daniel’s wedding. If you are planning your wedding at Crossbutts then i would love to hear from you. Also check out Marriane & Liam’s wedding if you want to see how i shoot a much larger wedding. Again its very focused in capturing the day with the minimum interruption from myself or Ashleigh & Ollie’s wedding at Crossbutts.
Great natural photographs Gary, the little bridesmaid and brides portrait at the start are just magical!
