Wedding Photography at Rudding Park – Harriet & Michael
Wedding photography at Rudding Park is always going to be a special event. Its a Grade I listed Regency House with landscaped gardens and mature woodland making Rudding Park one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Yorkshire. With an early start, i headed over to the very impressive and beautiful Rudding Park for the wedding of Harriet & Michael. I actually met this great couple some months earlier for their engagement shoot at the same venue so i was already prepared for their big day. This was one of the very rare occasions where i got to do the groom preparations. So a few shots of Michael, the guys and his dad before heading over to Harriet and the bridal preparations.
Harriet made her way to the chapel surrounded by umbrellas. A downpour just before she was due to leave. It did however make for some great pic’s as she arrived. The chapel there is incredible and Harriet & Michael did an incredible job decorating it. I couldn’t think of a better place to get married. The ceremony took place in the beautifully candle lit, 19th century chapel, a stones throw from the house itself. A great vicar gave me the freedom to shoot from every direction. Something that is quite rare so i made the most of the opportunity. Still remaining as discreet as is possible.
I followed Harriet and Michael outside and sadly the February weather was still playing its part. Therefore, indoors was the order of the day for the group photographs before the start of the speeches and the evenings celebrations..
If you are planning on getting married at Rudding Park then i would love to hear from you. Here is a small selection from the day.
