Whitby Abbey Wedding Photography – Emily & Craig
What a real joy it was to capture Emily & Craig’s Wedding. I first met them earlier in the year and again when we covered their pre wedding shoot which took place in Whitby. They both placed their wedding photography high on their list, so prior to the big day we discussed the best opportunities for pictures. In all honesty, being based in this picturesque town i’m a little spoilt for great locations. Emily and Craig had their hearts set on using the grounds of Whitby Abbey, however it doesn’t come cheap when you want the grounds to yourself and late in the evening.
But before all this i met Craig and the guys for the groom preparations. Not something that happens that often but makes a great change and adds to the overall feel and finish to the set of pictures. Over then to meet Emily and the girls to photograph the final touches before Emily left for the short drive to St Ninnian’s Church in the heart of Whitby. The whole day was a very relaxed and informal affair with the reception at the Metrepole Hotel
An Evenings Shoot – Whitby Abbey Wedding Photography
This was the real highlight of Emily & Craig’s day. An evenings shoot in the grounds of whitby abbey. What better way to finish my days coverage as we had the entire Abbey to ourselves. Here is just a small selection of my favourite images. If you are planning a wedding in Whitby, would like a photographer who covers both creative and documentary wedding photography please get in touch to check my availability. And finally, you may also be interested in checking out some of my other weddings from in and around the Whitby area.
